Meet Director Renae Bartholomew
I have been a part of the Weinacker’s Montessori team since January 2016, and am currently the Director. My family relocated to the Mobile area from east Texas where I was born and raised. I have always loved being around and working with children, volunteering at numerous summer camps through my school days. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and in English at Texas State University, and have teacher’s certification in both subjects. I utilized my degree in both the public and private school sectors, and found that I really enjoy working with preschool aged children. I am also an avid gymnast and have either competed in the sport or coached it for over 15 years. In my free time, I love being outdoors with my family, finding new adventures.”
Meet the Teachers

In 2013 I received my Montessori Early Childhood Certification. I am very excited to be able to work with the Preschool classroom because it is my favorite grade to teach! I love seeing them learn through play and exploration.
I am originally from Bogota, Colombia. I moved to the United States in 2003. I have two children. In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my family.

Aside from my workplace I participate and collaborate in Mobile’s Catholic Hispanic Ministry Parish as our Youth Group leader, Catechesis, and as The Proclaimer’s of Gospel Coordinator. With much gratitude I appreciate the opportunity to provide my talents to serve our beautifully harmonious Weinacker’s Montessori Community.
Much love, Tulia Perez
Crystal Gaston
My name is Crystal Gaston. I live in Mobile with my husband Nick, daughter Amelia, and our two dogs I have always had a passion for teaching for as long as I can remember. I have been working in early childhood education since 2007 and have been with Weinacker's Montessori at Hillcrest since 2016. I have worked with many different age groups, as well as played different roles around the school. I completed my Montessori training though the North American Montessori Center. I am currently the lead teacher in the toddler classroom. Toddlers have a unique way of showing us what they need to learn. I love being allowed to help children foster their own creativity to learn a new skill.
